Out of question, he ought to have the position.

解释：out of question是“毫无疑问”的意思，而这个词组中的question前加个定冠词the、成为out of the question时，意义几乎相反了。out of the question的意义是“不可能的”、“绝无可能的”。
如： His request is out of the question.

　When the news took air, the masses got excited.
　消息一经传开，群众颇为兴奋。
